Learn the Exciting Technique of Collagraph Printing!

We will be merging collage with painting and drawing to create visually stunning artworks. We will be creating our own unique printing plates out of various materials. Torn paper, sandpaper, sponges, & string to name a few. It's the play of one color against another that is the beauty of the final print.  PULLING A PRINT, IT'S MAGIC!

Mini Art Camp (one-day)| July 11, 2016

Printmaking!

Printmaking allows kids to try out lots of different techniques and to see cause and effect in action more dramatically than with simply painting or drawing. 

This workshop is an introduction to block printing using carved stamps and ink to print your very own designs onto a tote bag! Learn about creating simple repeat patterns from geometric shapes using kid-friendly carving techniques. We will be creating handmade stamps out of a variety of materials including potatoes!

Art Camp 2 | August 1-4, 2016

Learn the Exciting Technique of Intuitive Painting!

Intuitive painting is a great tool for beginners. Play is encouraged. The goal is to allow yourself the space to be inside color, paint, and process and tap into your magical creative self. 

This workshop will incorporate the play of mixed media, including acrylic, stencils, finger painting, gel pens & tools found in nature. We will be painting on a variety of surfaces. Be prepared to get messy!
